Lake & Bush Suites

Fothergill Island comprises two separate but linked camps, consisting of a total of 10 spacious and luxurious tented suites that are unique and contemporary in design, each of the suites have been furnished using natural hues and materials that complement the charismatic scenery surrounding each suite.

The Lake and Bush Suites comprise five spacious and breezy suites, that are some of the largest in the area, each placed exquisitely on 115 sqm (1,200 square feet) of decking. These suites can be configured to become either a double or twin room with a luxurious en-suite bathroom, some of which include an outside shower or large bathtub with a spectacular view. Each of the suites feature a writing desk, private lounge, generous and comprehensive mini bar, tea and coffee station and all have a tranquil and relaxing outside seating area that includes a private plunge pool and a day bed, from where you can watch the passing parade of wildlife, absorb the African skies or simply observe …. time.

There are two family suites that are equally spacious at approximately 160 sqm (1,700 square feet) of decking and which in addition to all of the standard suite inclusions include a second bedroom with matching en-suite facilities and a spacious central reception area within which the mini bar as well as tea and coffee station are positioned.

Island Suites

The utmost privacy and superlative comfort are assured at the Island Suites which are made up of an intimate central lounge, dining, bar and outside area overlooking a private pool which are all linked by raised walkways that wind through the landscape, trees and shrubbery to three tented luxury suites. Within these luxury suites you can expect four poster beds and warm embracing interiors that have been established on raised platforms with secluded decks and exceptional views of the Island accompanied by intimate glimpses of Lake Kariba.

Whilst staying in the Island Suites you can expect to be treated with complete discretion and extremely focused attention to detail. Should you desire, your stay may also include your own dedicated safari vehicle as well as a personal chef and safari guide.
